Well guys after a very good performance on Wednesday night the plan was to tweak the starting line up slightly but keep the same formation. Unfortunately with Gavin Shannon working it meant resorting to a 4-4-2 with greg Greg Keir unfortunate to see himself forced out to left midfield. Sloppy defending from an early corner led to the hosts dundee college taking an early lead.barnhill had the majority of possession in the opening half but were struggling to create any chances.they almost grabbed an equaliser when Sam Crozier lobbed the keeper and only a desperate goalline clearance prevented the scores being levelled. Croziers frustration was not to last long however as some lovely footwork from the striker resulted in a cool side foot finish.he almost added another after rounding the keeper but lost his balance at the vital moment. Sam croziers eventful first half wasnt over yet but soon was as he was sin binned from borat the referee. Half time 1-1 With Gav Shannon turning up after work the formation was reverted back to a 3-5-2 with Ryan Thompson also being introduced and greg keir moving back into the engine room.after a terrible first half Stuart Cassidy was moved to left midfield although was lucky to still be on. Ross Bissell was the other wing back with Callum Whyte playing in the middle with Greg Keir and tommo.a back three of gav Brian Caswell and young matty left a front two of Michael Fernie and Darryl small. The change seemed to suit the players and almost immediately a lovely flowing passing move led to a neat finish from Michael fernie.the hill then stamped there mark all over their opponents and at times had them running around in circles. But for a lack of composure and poor refereeing decisions the lead could have been four or five.the third eventually arrived after a thirty five yard trademark tommo strike (unfortunately it was a fluke)placency crept into to the experienced tommo after this and too much dribbling at the back let the tech in for a consolation goal.this led to a nervy last couple of minutes for the young hill side in a game which should have been long out of sight.
