Well here is the latest on Sting...I admit when I am wrong and here is the latest...He has yet to sign his deal with WWE. I was told months ago it was a done deal but for what ever reason both sides were apart on money. This deal tonight is complicated and was done thru the video game company. They have a deal with WWE and were able to get Sting on their own but they had the green light to do it from the WWE. The WWE at one point were confident that Sting would sign so they told the video game company that they could lock him in to be apart of the game. HE never signed and at the same time the video game company made a deal to Sting and he agreed and WWE was basically stuck because they already gave permission for them to sign him. From what I know and was told tonight its not if Sting will sign a legends deal with WWE its just when......He is not there in VA tonight as the promo tonight was filmed 6 weeks ago in CA.
