Well here is the prototype! Pbl at its best! I really want tables, but admin says no... Must use desks... So last year I did and the Firsties couldnt handle the desks... They pushed eAch other forward and the desks were always cadywompass and that drove me nuts, so solution #1 I Zip tied the desks together to make it so they Firsties couldnt push the desks around. That worked well, but when I wanted to change groups from 4-6 it cost a lot to replace all the zip ties. The 2nd problem was the desk hole or tote tray storage space was more than the kids could handle. I tried desk fairy and all kinds of token rewards to no avail! We managed, but I vowed to find a solution! Here it is! Desks are duck taped together with avenger super hero duck tape and there are 3 storage spaces neatly tucked into the middle space for storage of supplies and table group notebooks and independent reading books. Finally the desks are all backwards so no tote tray holes are accessible! Genius... Last thing is to attach the storage hammocks we are making for under the chairs as extra storage Yeahhhh
