Well here it is. Today sees the final performance for Flashback. Weve been playing together for just over 23 years racking up well over 1000 gigs. Speaking for myself I have had the most amazing time from the first gig at Caerphilly Scout Hut on 30th of November 1991 to the Glamorgan today. Weve had some great times with the highlights probably being playing the Queens Birthday Ball at the British Embassy in Cairo (twice- 2002 and 2004). Weve picniced on many occasions on the A470 on a big blanket, run out of petrol, snapped a cam belt tripped many a sound limiter, but most importantly have done it together. I have not only found some great musicians to play with but a second family who I love dearly. So from me many thanks to all those whove supported us and all the landlords and landladies whove booked us, weve had a blast. Huw.
