Well here we go the first History Lesson Friday! The first sled is one of my favorites in our collection. This is one of Blair Morgans 2001 T&S Racing built mod sleds. T&S Racing built about 14 of these mods for Arctic Cat - Snowmobiles based off of Tucker Hibberts 2000 X Games winning mod sled. Blair had 2 of these machines and the other is in the Hall of Fame in St. Germaine Wi. I am not sure if this is Blairs X Games winning machine or not but I guess it has a 50% chance of being that machine. Blair and the Black Magic based team ran the more conventional hood while the other teams ran the Tucker style hood. This machine uses the Black Magic 711 EFI engine. The clutches have been machined down to save weight. This machine uses a hand cut 14x121 track. The sled is completely race ready and is fired up on occasion. This sled was purchased from a friend of ours who bought it from Black Magic. We also got Blairs Race pullover and his checkered flag from The Grande Prix in Valcourt. Personally I remember in 2001 seeing Blairs mechanic Barry Dawson testing this sled in the backlot at the Gaylord Mi National Snowcross. Well I hope you enjoyed the first history lesson. I hope to make these better as I go and I will be mixing it up with new and old in no particular order. Thanks again for reading!
