Well....it finally happened. I bought a little hand-held calculator at Dollar Tree today that has more functions than the Hewlett-Packard HP-35 (so-called because it had 35 keys), released in 1972 for $395.00. To put the HP-35 in perspective: it replaced slide-rules! The bizarre thing is that, replacing the batteries in this little $1.00 calculator will cost MORE than the calculator! Ah, technology.......
