Well it has been a long and exhausting season for me giving you images of whats been happening in the 2013 / 14 circuit boat racing calendar. I have still one meeting to attend , the St George Spectacular in 2 weeks. That makes 14 interstate trips in 8 months !! I have decided that after this meeting I will be scaling back my involvement with this hobby dramatically , and attend a select few in the coming season. With the amount of hours that are put in to give everyone an insight of what happens from meeting to meeting , it takes a toll on spending less time with the family , and naturally the hip pocket. After support from each meeting is diminishing more and more, I suppose its just the sign of the times , you cant force people to support someone. Also with everybody coming out to the meetings with cameras , just makes it harder to justify ones product , with others who give away theirs. I have earmarked, and will attend Windsor in September, from there I will go with the flow, and if any assistance in any form is offered for a meeting, I will be happy to offer my services. Other than that I will hang out with mates on the bank, and have a few bevvies at a meeting, or even crew from time to time with some teams ! From there I will sit back , with a smile , and say to myself , I gave it a shot !! Hopefully , I see you somewhere on the circuit !!
