Well it has been a very emotional roller coaster the last few days. I received the call! Yes that call...there is gonna be a kidney available, you are in line for this kidney, please come to hospital and give us some blood. I was on it like white on rice. It was explained that I had two people ahead of me and it may not fall to me. Ah but there was a chance!! I was called in the afternoon and told I was now the sole individual recipient for this kidney. Hallelujah!!! Now there is a process first they have to decide if I am in fact healthy enough at this time. with recent happenings that was iffy but I was deemed good. Then we had to wait for the donor family to actually let their loved one go so it could be procured and deemed viable for transplanting. Well this was a wait, my heart was so heavy to know that someone had to make this decision to let go of their beloved family member. I prayed hard for God to give them strength. This took all day and part of the next a very agonizing wait. I then received the call that they now had the kidney and it would take several hours to check it all out. So we wait. Well the hours clicked bu and the phone rang...... Turned out the kidney was not viable as a transplant organ after all. So once again I wait. I chose not to post anything till I was certain what was going on. I appreciate all your prayers please keep them coming. Please also pray for this brave family for making the decision to donate organs so that others can live.... Rosie
