Well it has been quite a long weekend.Our race boat Nacht Wacht finished First in the cruising spinaker class. We are very proud and the boat owner, Ton Caskey is especially pleased as this is his first Harvest Moon Race. We were all set to head back home and help him bring his boat .back when his water pymp broke....back to the dock...and we jumped ship repacked quickly and came back on Leading Edge and heloed Tom Sutton bring his boat back...what a ride! We had 8 ft waves in the gulf with high winds so we decided to head into the inner coastal at Freeooet. It was 4 am and still very dark so I clipped in on the bow and was our spotter with the high powered flashlight.. We hope to arrive at LYC between 1&2. Cant wait to get a shower!!!
