Well, it is official. Today I closed the bank account and we are 100% run by charity donation. I will have a NEW 1-page form for everyone to sign. Beginning September 1st we will ask that you bring $3-5 each time you come to boot camp (change will not be provided) and you will have two choices each month of who your donation helps. For September we will fun The Ronald Mc Donald House. A local marathoner, Ginny Honaker will be running in the Chicago Marathon and this is the charity she is running for. We hope to have Ginny come work out with us a few times in September so that she can tell you more about it. Your other choice for a charity is Cypress Lucky Mutts Rescue. I spoke with someone from there and they can accept checks if you want to pay by check. You may also bring dog food or treats in lieu of money. Since we are all about charity, if you ever find yourself running low on money---COME ANYWAY. There always seems to be those who give more and the whole idea behind this shift it to help people so if you are in need, let me help you by allowing you to come for free. Our days and times may change but at this moment I am looking at 7-8 pm at our Skinner/Spring Cypress location (beginning 9/1) and Sunday afternoons at 2pm at the Goodson location. I have loved the last two years as a business and I hope that the excitement continues (if not grows) and we as a group can help others while we help ourselves. ** I will always have a change jar (just coins) if you want to drop in coins to help me pay for my insurance :)
