Well it seems like more people have heard the news that my job at Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras was recently made redundant and I have finished up....hence my current extended holiday :) Im not really sure what the future looks like for me at the moment but needless to say Im definitely on the hunt for a new senior/executive role in the events industry, either in Australia or overseas. I really do want to say thanks to all I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with whilst I was at SGLMG, especially the core team of event experts who delivered the major events with me. Thank you also to the talented DJs, superstar performers and amazing creatives as well as the government teams who helped us take over the city and keep it safe. We produced many great stage shows, awesome scenic installations, huge floats and some amazing major events. Finally, special mention to the 1,000s of volunteers and people from the community who really make the events as massive and amazing as they are and to my friends and family for your full and ongoing support and love.
