Well it took 30 secs of thought over a lunchtime snack, a couple of months of planning and less than 10 hours to complete but I think today was something of a success. 33 people toed the line and all returned in one piece. Ok my ears were burning here and there but effort, skill and a touch of belligerence seemed to win the day. Have to say a massive thank you to all of the CP teams - its people like you who give up their time to stand in car parks and iffy country lay-bys that enable stuff like this to be done, without you there wouldnt be a race. Well done to all the runners - it seems like you enjoyed the route (well most of it) and that is a big thumbs up for all the miles it took to sort it. I make no apologies for the final hill either - if it was easy everyone would do it and youd have no sense of achievement !! Last big thanks to Mel - shes really the front end sparkly bit of the operation - she goes along with my crazy ideas and makes them tick - without her it really doesnt happen. I started off making cheese sarnies in the wee hours of today and now im eating the fricking things !!! Night Night all............ for now !!!!!
