Well, it was a nice night......4 awhile! Last year, as some of u may remember (or maybe not, lol), we had 2 cut our Trick or Treating short bcuz our Roxy Roodle needed 2 be rushed 2 the vet. And to our great sadness, she passed 1 year ago 2morro AM! :( I had no idea that this would be another rough All Hallows Eve! (Isnt that another name 4 it? Lol) We got a lot of the town covered, when I said I was going 2 move the car 2 the school parking lot. I was 2 park at the school & walk (East) 2 meet back up w/ my girls & Dar. Idk why, but I didnt gv it too much thought about hving 2 WALK by a certain house. However, I hv 2 say, it turned out 2 be so very much harder than I had ever imagined it would be!!! The 1st time by, I felt as though I had been kicked in the gut. My breath had been completely taken away. I closed my eyes tight & just kept walking. Walking past their house w/ little issue, was thought 2 be the worst of it. I couldnt hv been more wrong!!! After meeting back up w/ the girls & Dar, we had 2 walk by again! This time......looking up 2 the upstairs windows, almost wishing 2 be able 2 possibly catch a glimps of her looking out at all of the kids on the street. It was at that very moment I realized that the girls would never be knocking on their door again & saying, Trick or Treat, 2 hear her reply, I would never Trick u girls, so u had better take my treat, lol. That was it!! Remembering every time the girls & I would stop to say Hi, Halloween or otherwise, was yet another breaking point for me. Even tho I tried really very hard to hold back crying, it still took over. I failed greatly at trying 2 be strong!! I couldnt keep myself from crying, no matter how hard I tried! Tho Im sure they might hv been disappointed, the girls never made any kind of issue about calling it a night! They said they understood & that it was ok 2 go home. Aside from all 4 of us being cold & wet, Im not sure they were quite ready 2 gv it up yet. But we made 1 more stop & there was never a single complaint from either 1 of them. I am, however, going 2 apologize 2 them, again, for another Halloween cut a bit short!!! Im very VERY sorry Montana & Skyler!!!! I hope despite ur mother losing control of her emotions, u both still had a good time 2night!! I love u both, well, ALL 3 of u (yes, u 2 Luke Ziegler ) more than u will ever know!! As for u My Shell Bell??? Im sure it goes w/out saying, & as I pray u know, I love & miss u MORE than ANY1 will ever know!!! Good Night!!!!
