Tomorrow at 12pm I will be going under the knife to have my PICC line removed and replaced with a Port in the right upper arm. Its taken me years to be okay with this, and I still am skeptical about the choice. Luckily I know my surgeon (Dr.Cockerill), and my brother took work off to help me for the next couple of days, and my amazing girlfriend Katie (Fellow ICU Nurse) will be there with me....asking me questions as I wake up from sedation...
