Well its been a while since last I wrote anything here so here it goes.... Summer is beginning and the lack of actual activities for youth to participate in has hit an all time low. The ideal summer for them would be to learn something, teach something, try something (legal and moral), and to come out a better person for doing so. In order to make a difference in the lives of those who must carry on after we are gone, dont write them off...smile at them when you see them, greet them as if they were your own, they are, and encourage them in a loving tone to do better when you see them not at their best. Our children face a world that we truly have never faced...they are exposed to things in a rapid and overwhelming way that we never experienced. They are angrier than we were with less positive outlets to place that anger...sports, music, art....not their common means of expression and sometimes out of reach...so smile and forgive and teach...you are their summer program.
