Well, its been a year today since I came back to Australia from Japan. I was unsure about what coming back would mean at the time, after being in Tokyo 7 long years, but I dived in, applied myself, and opportunities came knocking. Here are 10 things which happened in the year: 1. I met a lot of fantastic people, including old friends, and new people, especially from the Adelaide Startup community. 2. Ive spent a lot of time with my parents. 3. I saw my youngest brother Aaron Rudduck marry the beautiful Kate Rudduck. 4. I worked/am working in graphic design and UI with Flinders Partners, Innovyz, some companies from ANZ Innovyz Start, Furio, Flinders University, David Griggs and Peregrine, to name a few. 5. I had the most advanced surgery on my sinuses and had my sense of smell return. This included some procedures normally associated with brain surgery. 6. I found a home at The Majoran Distillery and painted a large wall there with John Baxter and Michael L Reid. 7. I did all the artwork for an app called Santagram with Shawn Webster. 8. I redid all the tests and regained my drivers license, which had expired. Then continued using the tram. 9. I went out an awful lot, especially during the Fringe. 10. I almost died from an allergic reaction to some medicine. Tough day that.
