Well. its been three weeks today since I finished my radio therapy at the Christie. Following the treatment my throat became very sore internally and it was difficult to swallow - I was able to drink beer under duress but not much else! Gradually it got worse until about three days ago when I could feel the difference. Two days ago I was able to talk fairly normally (if you can call Keaw Yed normal!) but the exterior of my throat began to get very sore and started peeling as in sun burn. But today I can feel that Im nearing the end (not THE end!) Im swallowing fairly normally and Ive not had any painkillers for two days - so things are looking up - my wife is only 4 11 so everything is looking up for her! Ill keep you notified as time progresses - thank you for all the kind words and offers of prayers - not many offered money but you cant have it all. Cheers, Tony xxx
