Well its official.... in between the tears, sugar filled, late nights of study and lecture cramming, not to mention the lack of sleep, bad food choices and weight I managed to find, I somehow managed to trick the uni into giving me a bachelor of paramedic science with distinction.... so on that note, id like to write a chapter to end one & start by saying thank you to my greatest supports- mum and dad (Barry Locke)... only took me 3 attempts of this is definitely what I want to do at uni & countless certificates, diplomas and courses... but I did it, I finally found something im passionate enough about doing & that, well, hell I would work foe free!!! Emily Schenscher, Liam Sager, thanks for the endless hours of singing roadtrips, allowing me to vent and being there when it all got to much, not too mention the cramming.... Shai Regan, Di Twigg thanks for going exam crazy with me and asking me questions until the wee hours of the morning, many tears were had, many pieces of paper torn in frustration...but, believe it or not, I still retained some of it ( yes, only some ). To the teachers who built the foundations of my learning ( Laura Loader Rob Wendy Miller Darryl Dilger Paula de Kroon Bevan Loader), I will forever be greatful...thanks for putting up with my horrific behaviour, my red herring questions and taking the time to help me through, a particular shout of to the beautiful Indira Kumar who took the time to invite me into her house and teach me even after I had finished highschool , no doubt I would have never passed chemistry and math had it not been for your patience or skill and knowledge... still unsure how I ever managed to pass & all with HDs, but , I forever feel blessed to have you in my life!! Krystle Walters Skye Krobath im so happy to have shared my falls and triumphs with you from the beginning!!!! You were always up for a chat or cry over the phone & one of the most constant and consistent friendships... over all the stress, assingments, tears and distance, lifelong friendships were built. Cassie Ann Fraser my moustache bud, thanks for forever supporting me through the endless scenarios and cpm cramming. Pam Kerr Mei- my eggsellent friends... thanks for sharing the good, the bad, & the plain ol ugly times, never a dull moment with you ladies by my side, ....im so happy I got 2 share the beginning of my career with you women! Steven Gould and Chris Hoffman, thanks for the many late night skype sessions and consistent HD efforts on those bloody group assingments. You guys kept me sane, shared the anger and tears and will definitely be life long friends. Freyja Page thanks for your hours of support and endless friendship... no doubt i would have probably ended up losing the plot had i not had you... James Abbott....thanks for ensuring I had food and water during those study periods where I became a hermit and vampire, sleeping 2hrs out of a 24hr period - god knows how I dont have insomnia from it! Thanks for your endless support and bloody I told you so moments.. as a closing note to all my friends still studying, banging your head on a txt book will not transfer information unfortunately!!!! ive tried it. To all those who bullied me at uni for wanting to study not party and to those who told me I used other means to obtain marks in the politest way possible - up you!!! I worked hard for my marks, I put ridiculous hours into study and research to ensure my assingments and what i bought to exams was of a level I was proud of.... whilst I wish those nasty people all the best in the careers and future, I wish to never come accross you again!! a few happy snap glances from my time.
