Well its seems like its been a month of Sundays since Ive posted anything on here. Lots going on. Clint is finally starting to feel somewhat like a human again. He is far from being 100% but each day there is a big improvement. He is just now starting to get his appetite back (to some extent). That has been a challenge. He has his first follow up appt with the surgeon on Friday, I think the Dr will be pleased. We dont find out what the chemo regiment will be until we see the cancer dr on the 25th :( Tons have changed on the military front!! God has blessed me with GREAT leadership and opportunities. Although I am very sad to have to say good bye to my folks at Travis in CA, I have been selected by another GREAT squadron back here at Scott AFB. I started this past weekend and WOW is all I can say ... I was welcomed home with huge open arms and smiles, lots of hugs, and a precision gift from spouses of Airmen in my previous squadron (yes it brought tears!). I felt SO humbled and blessed I cant even describe it. It was a hard decision to make (leaving Travis to come back to Scott) but I believe it was the right thing to do. Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. If you see Shields Cullun on Thursday make sure you wish my baby boy a Happy 16th :) Im so proud of all of our kids!
