Well, last night, over the course of about two intense hours, I composed the melody and nearly finished all the choral parts for a new D# Major setting of a Lamb of God. Still a few kinks to work out (Im sure!) and things to decided about, including the orchestration, but I was surprised at how quickly this short piece came together. Other things are on the horizon, too, as Im finishing/revising several other pieces. All I seem to do lately after work is to take refuge in either my books or my music.
