(with more arriving every day) A gunshot Trumpeter Swan that was found in Waconia earlier this week was featured on Fox 9 news: myfoxtwincities/story/25605270/trupeter-swan-recovering-after-being-shot Its a perfect example of how we try to help people who have found sick, injured or orphaned wildlife. Many thanks to the people who worked to save and rescue it. The swan, while it will never be able to fly again, will most likely be transferred to the Iowa DNRs swan breeding program once its fully healed.
