Well looks like this is the best we are going to get from Sinn Fein I have had to use my own facebook account to get these answers and i do use the word answers in the lightest way possible. I have gone through countless pages of Sinn fein news which led me to more questions. Do you think I got answers lol. here is all Martina Anderson had to say. Martina Anderson · 17 mutual friends As far as I have been infomed these questions have been answered - but in case there has been a technical issue I will response below The Sinn Féin position on Welfare Cuts and benefits changes is crystal clear there are dozens of statements on derrysinnfein.ie and sinnfein.ie outlining what the party position is and all details are contained in those statements . Sinn Féin has hosted two Public meetings in Derry in the last six months and others across the six counties on the issue of Tory welfare cuts and met with dozens of groups and organisations that deal with issues of welfare rights. As stated already Martin McGuinness said very clearly at the Sinn Féin Ard Fheis 5 months ago that Sinn Féin would block any attempt to introduce a bedroom tax in the six counties. Sinn Féin is fundamentally opposed to the austerity policies and cuts agenda of the British Tory Government. They are bad for communities and they are bad for public services. They are targeted at the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our society. The electorate here rejected in overwhelming numbers the Tory agenda when it was put before them at the last election. It is clear that the British government intend to drive ahead with their welfare cuts agenda. Sinn Fein is opposed to this Bill in its current form. It is unacceptable to us and we will seek to make fundamental changes to it in the Assembly.
