Well, most of you know now that I broke my ankle this past - TopicsExpress

Well, most of you know now that I broke my ankle this past Saturday when my beloved Eve took a fall that was in no way her fault and that demonstrated fully why I hold her in the high regard that I do. She tried her level best to keep her footing and, while she lost that battle, her determination and Gods continued and consistent favor upon her kept her from rolling over top of me, which is what really could have / should have happened. Anyway, I am forever thankful to our Creator for His affection for both His children and His creation as I am fully convinced that He kept us both from extreme injury. Anyway, I am already suffering from horse withdrawal and after spending a couple of hours today sitting with Eve fully investigating both my legs to determine the difference between the casted one and the uncasted one and then quality testing my walker-- which she rubbed, knocked over, and seemed to cock an eyebrow as if to question how this was more stable than she herself-- instead of eating grass (which was why I was sitting in the yard with her), I have decided to go ahead and post our freestyle ride from the Oct fun show at the Currahee Saddle Club. I will be a long time yet riding her, but I wanted to share our video (thank you Ashley Farmer for videoing and sharing!) simply because I love this horse, will always be thankful to the Lord for her, and felt like sharing what ended up being a really fun bridleless routine with my girl.
