Well my mom just cleared some things up for me which explains a lot of the makeshift science of electricians and DIY guys which is of course, absurd bullshit lol Apparently when electricians get certified, they do an apprenticeship. They start out by getting into the union by paying union dues when there are membership openings in whichever state which then applies to all 50 states of the Union. From there, a lot of the *bad science* they learn is from the master electrician training them. These guys also teach the courses sponsored by colleges meaning you are in a college, there is a classroom and a teacher but, the teacher is one of you just at a higher level. They also send them there to learn regulation codes as things change. So THIS is why every man, woman and child under the sun to this very day has the same distorted if not simply nonsensical beliefs and explanations about electricity and electrical theory. The power of RUMORS is unbelievable. Its a word of mouth education built on fantasy beliefs that spread as factual and are infact, the equivalent of a rumor in high school or on television. And you wonder why I quit watching television nearly 6 years ago and listening to commercial radio over a decade ago.....
