Well my trip to South Africa would not be complete without being attacked, chased, or at the least heckled by some animal. Thats sorta been the trend..as a few of you know. While running I believe its called an Australian Magpie, (4 total) came plunging towards my head, and for several minutes as I ran like a chicken. A couple more somehow got the message half a mile away as they too charged at me. They bury their tiny eggs in the dirt, so I may have unknowingly stepped on one or been too close. Theyre frighteningly aggressive, but was able to protect my head with my jacket and have to credit my all time record time speed to these vicious things. The second pic (my foot) is of someones high heel while dancing shed accidentally and drunkenly jabbed into it. Painful!
