Well now a bunch of things have been going on, we did the busking the burg event and it was a blast. Funny thing happened. We had found our assigned place to play, a recessed alcove that was an entry to a store that was closed. It fit the duo perfectly, and actually formed a kind of megaphone. It had rained, and I mean RAINED earlier that morning so the alcove gave us a little protection from the weather, which was looking crappier by the moment. Well, it never rained but the wind blew. And something that I did not know, but know now, is that rain collects on flat roofs like the one we were playing under. And since it was not actually raining we, or at least I was out on the sidewalk mixing with the crowd. Remember that wind I mentioned? In picked up and blew across the top of the flat roof and pushed the water off the roof onto you know who, Wet Chance, Soaked Chance, me, now christened a new acolyte in the Church of the Immaculate Unexpected. WHOOSH! The language I used will forever deny me any further benefits of church membership. Rob, Dry Chance, DID NOT get wet. Do you believe in chance?
