“Well” our Galaxy Class Wide Beam sold before we finished it (See the comments from Paul and Karen below). Hi everyone Paul and Karen here - we have just taken our new galaxy widebeam out on the river for the first time with Les - what a super experience - she moved like a dream and handled beautifully - the day was the icing on the cake for us - Les has built us a beautiful boat - he is passionate about boat building and it comes across in the high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that Les insists upon ! Having researched our chosen lifestyle and widebeam boats for a year now I can honestly say ( as an experienced fishing boat owner) that u will not find a better spec of boat for the money ! Les enjoys building his boats and his enthusiasm rubs off ! We will be based on the Kennet and avon canal near bristol so anyone will be welcome to view the Galaxy once we are settled if they are serious about buying a fantastic wide beam boat ! Thanks Les ! Paul and Karen base plate has just gone down on the workshop floor for the next fully fitted 60 x 12ft wide beam. Time to start the first barge style “Jupiter Class”. A 60ft x 12ft flat-bottomed wide beam with a VETUS VH4.80/80hp engine and BOW95/12 8hp Bow thruster just for starters. She will be packed with luxury level extras and very competitively priced.
