Well, praise Jesus, I have a fully-functioning kitchen again! We added two extra feet of space, an over-the-range microwave, an island, and semi-new cabinetry! The holes in the exterior wall are repaired, the floor is solid, and the insulation is thick. I restored a light switch, got a deeper sink and new faucet, and have room for a dishwasher when the time is right. All this, and I only caused one flood and electrocuted myself twice! I did draw blood on my palm, stepped on a nail, and broke down emotionaly a couple of times, but Im still married, employed, and almost over the cold that kept me coughing through it all. When and if I ever get the mess cleaned up I will post some pictures. Thank God for Mommas gift that she expressed was to fix things around the house, the Re-Store and the people who donate to it, and the neighbor who gave us a GREAT deal on the roofing job so that the money stretched just enough.
