Well, results of echocardiogram came back. Good news is that not much has changed with her mitral valve. Not so good news (but I refuse to call it bad news) is that she has some stenosis in another valve in her heart, which they believe is due to the lower respiratory infection, and its causing respiratory hypertension. My understanding is that we wait out the virus, pump her full of high flow oxygen and help her get past the virus and then reevaluate the valve and hypertension at that time. I didnt ask what would happen if it didnt resolve the problem because frankly I choose to believe that this is all related to her infection and Im not filling my mind with what ifs and worries when I know my God is big and able- and I know that because Ive seen Him provide in situations six million times worse than this with Madi.
