Well, sad to say this is probably the last ariel photo Ill be putting up for a while. Yesterday while at my house I didnt have enough time to make it out to the the beach so I decided to send my DJI Phantom up to get some of the snowfall (Drone/UAS to most people) in my neighborhood at 4:30 PM. Forest Rd/Burnt Plains Rd Intersection Right when it got above the tree line the wind took it about a block or so away and then I lost all view on my monitor. It was cutting in and out for a while but it was too out of sight that it was in black and white, therefore I couldnt tell which direction I was facing. I hit the return home button, but Im assuming it crashed into a tree somewhere along the way. No, it will not just drop out the sky when the battery dies. They are programmed Yet to find it. If you know anyone who lives in in the area between Platt Tech & The Mall, please share this info with them. Photos of the area Im *guessing* it will be in are in the comments.
