Well shoot guys. I know Im long winded on here but I have to share stuff. River Nievar dropped a valve through his piston a couple months ago. Trashed the entire motor. Cost to fix, a couple grand! Well no gottie. So we were planning on selling some things so we could fix it. But nothing would sell so we couldnt get it done. I know in the grand scheme of things its no big deal. But to a kid going to a track every weekend so we can do ministry its tough to watch all your friends go compete while you watch. Oh well its life and if thats as bad as it gets then your pretty blessed. So its John Firmautomotive to the rescue! He loans River one of their bikes. So we take it to Clyde race in Oct then to another race at Oak Hill Raceway in Nov. Bike was great and River loved it. Brought it home washed it and getting it ready for oil change (warming engine). Well it died while doing that. I figured it was prolly something got wet. Took it to the shop today and found that it had cracked piston. (500$ down the toilet). Its a borrowed bike so its not even an option as to weather or not to fix it. So we leave the shop and Im grumpy and frustrated due to my convincing myself that God must have forgotten me again. I know how stupid that sounds but Im not known for my smarts or my memory. Please understand Im not saying that our circumstances have anything to do with how good God is. What I am saying is that God is smart and his timing is really cool! I drive to the track to go do bible study today and to ride the 2015 KX 250 I was blessed with only one week ago. We get there and Ive finally have resigned that there is so much more to do in life than to worry about $ and trying to play the whole commercial Christmas game. Mama goes down to sign us up for practice and the track owner tells her that him and his boys did a moto camp a month or so back and that they all wanted to take the top of the profit and fix Rivers bike. The bike would have been done today but parts didnt make it in. The timing of this is amazing to me! I realize I dont deserve the breath in my lungs. Thats the beauty of our God cause in spite of deserving death and shame he gives me life and blessings. He gave me his baby boy! I dont know why he did it, but he is worthy of all our praises when we are on top of the world or when its on top of us. He is still worthy Thanks Jeff, McCoy, Mitchell and Greg. Yall have been the hands and feet of Christ to us! Blessings!!
