Well-still in Baku,getting to know this city a bit too well by now!good news is, 4hours and 200$ later we have our visas for Turkmenistan.they are for five days transit.we have been told we can get tonights rusty tub at eight pm.the sailing takes 17hours but frequently the Turkmen authorities leaves the ship waiting outside the port for up to 48 hours.that may leave us with only three days to cross 12000km of mainly desert.or get fined and deportted. Who knows what will happen?we certainly dont. Have packed bananas and bread ,and noodles for the crossing.they say there are maggots in the cabin mattresses so that will be the protein. Wont fb in Turkmenistan, so next update in Uzbekistan Khiva.thanks for all the messages e and r
