Well, talk about a screwed-up day. Yesterday. Ive got the game on. Fussin at Auburn for not playing sharper. Then the storm hit. OMG!!! Wind howling. Sheets of rain. Then right after we came back for the 2nd half, the POWER WENT OUT!!!!!!!!! I had had a bunch of seizures yesterday, so I had to pretty much stay put in my comfy chair. OOOOOoooooo...............the agony of it all! The 1st time I called the power co., they said it would be back on by 9:18. 9:18!! Who are they kidding, and where did they come up with that number? Meanwhile, Theron and Neville listened to the game after it came back from the lightning delay. So Charlie, who weighs 50 pound and reverts back to being a lap dog during storms, and I are cozy (HOT) in my chair while they shout out updates. So, I call the power co. again. Now they say 8:30. As 8:30 approaches, I call. Now they say midnite. At 11:00, I call, they say 1:00. We got the power back on at 12:28. Ive funded the next Power Co. picnic with all the juice I pulled after cranking those 3 monster window units up. You could have hung meat in this house ths morning! LOL!!!!!!! I cant wait to rewatch the game later! All I can say is WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess, Yea Alabama for beating some directional school. North southern eastern university. But we romped on Arkansas, baby!!!! It was so very quiet. Something Im not used to. So I replayed some Moody Blues, Stones, and Led Zepplin in my head. Ya know, you think you know all of a song. I mean, you can sing along with the radio and never miss a note. Try singing in your head to occupy the time. All of a sudden there are big gaps! LOL!!!!!!! War Eagle, Yall. Gotta go to my little country store in a few minutes to get my ribs for tomorrow. Tonight, hamburger steaks with onions and gravy. Big fat french fries to soak up the gravy.
