Well that concludes my last ever* shift working at Asylum! Its been good fun working there, and great to have been a part of ever since their opening night on day one, in just over a year the place has firmly stamped its mark on Chelmsfords live music scene so Im certainly proud to have been part of that. Ive met a load of cool new people and seen a load of awesome bands, as well as caught up with some old faces I hadnt seen since the days before the Bay Horse became a fancy bistro... Ill definitely miss working there, but alas, a new full-time job means I cant work both jobs at the same time. Cheers to Edward & Denise Wood and all the staff, I wish em all good luck and hope people will continue to support and attend the venue, as without it, Chelmsford will go back to being as shitty as it was a couple of years ago and a lot of great bands will be screwed for somewhere local to play... Dont think youve gotten rid of me that easily though, Ill be back, but next time as an annoying customer rather than as an annoying member of staff. *(unless everything goes tits up and I need to come crawling back asking for work...)
