Well that was an interesting lunch break...popped home to check dogs water supply was good and to drop SARGs sponsorship application into Rob Libchard Merbien. Tilley our Rottti was mighty spooked in the outside laundry where the dogs beds are and the extra drinking water - I too head a thudding sound on metal, hmmm mouse or snake better investigate so dogs into the shed donned the Blundstones & in with a shovel - hmm nothing in that there laundry trough cupboard, Im so brave, feeling very proud of myself.. (actually have a huge fear of snakes). Dogs back into the back yard inside for a glass of water - looking out kitchen window to see a very large brown snake slithering across the lawn away from the laundry area, quickly retrieved the dogs back to the shed all looked ok, petrified by this stage watched it disapear to the back fence - rang Brendan who to get to help quickly - no one home. Rang lovely MRCC to get a number for a snake catcher - Steve Morrow . No luck in locating it despite him taking a very good look around for me - so now researching Pam Nelson Sentinel Repellent devices. Dogs inside with me chilling under the AC. Not sure too much sleep is on the agenda tonight!! Oh Steve Morrow 0417167319 should you need him, very passionate about snakes and very reasonable fees if you need help.
