Well that was both scary and exciting. My son and his friends came running up our driveway screaming to the top of their lungs, Fire! Fire! Two streets southwest of my home, a neighbors house caught on fire and there were plumes of thick black smoke eclipsing the twighlit sky. I called 911, gave them the information and then said a silent prayer. In minutes I heard emergency crews arriving with alarms wailing, then using a chainsaw and other life saving devices to aid them in the rescue. The fire is out now and EMS has come and gone. Thank goodness we live just five mins away from the hospital and fire department.
