Well thats it, Ive got my running number for the Great North Run 2014. As some of you already know, Im running to raise awareness of the Blood Service. Being an NHS organisation, they are unable to accept any form of financial sponsorship or donations, however in order to put a value on my place in the run which the Blood Service have provided to me at no cost, I had to find a minimum of 15 names of people whod be interested in learning more about, and possibly becoming a blood donor. Ive already reached my target of 15 names, however I have an additional 10 forms in the hope that I can exceed the target, so if anyone would like to provide their details (in a private message please), all I need is Name, Address, Date of birth and a contact number or email. It goes without saying that any information given to me is handled in the strictest of confidence and once it is passed the Blood Service none of it is retained by me in any way shape or form. It remains to say thanks to all those from MM who have kindly shown their interest in becoming an blood donor - now all I have to do is run 13.1 miles :-O
