Well, the Sunny and 75 Road Tour is slowly coming to an end and its almost time to head home and see how the homestead has survived the winter. I went from the snow and ice and cold of Michigan to where it was sunny and damned near 90 in Arizona. Motored across plains and through mountains, fighting buffeting head and cross winds, and was even stranded for a day by an ice storm. Through it all, Ive lost 10-15 pounds, added holes to my belt, bought a smaller pair of jeans after first leaving, and an even smaller pair today. And Ive gotten blond and tan like it was summer, not winter! Not looking forward to coming back to a cold, dreary, dirty looking Michigan to do my income taxes, but I am looking forward to my bed, my cable TV, my Wi-Fi, and my chair! Just around the corner, Captain America, Spiderman, the X-Men, and Jack Bauer return, turkey hunting season starts up with exorbitant fees thanks to the Republicans, and my latest granddaughter is scheduled to make her appearance. Spring in Michigan may be bearable after all!
