Well the blue Honda is back on the road again. It was expensive, since the car sat for three years at least but was not as bad as I was tempted to fear. Big smile...so glad I have learned NOT to pre-anticipate disasters. It was taken over by mice.....I hope it doesnt stink as much as I fear.....but apparently it smells especially when the heat is put on....but I am sure it will air out...and I will look into some aroma or herbal treatments to deodorize her. I do need to get her new tires.....so I am grateful that I do have stock to sell for now and I am looking forward to the next round of sales promotions at the place I always have bought my tires. I am so tempted to get out and drive her again.....but she will be getting Mike around for now, until he can save enough for a car again. The mechanics warned that other things might show up as the car is driven, but I am going to Manifest that nothing will......as it is, the Hybrid battery was still good and with luck, she will maintain some of her resale value when I trade her in for a used car not as old.......I would like a car that is heavier or one that has all wheel drive because me driveway is pretty steep and replacing the old rutted gravel drive with concrete three years ago did not make it any easier to get up the drive when it is icy. I am glad I got the car paid off as quickly as I could.
