Well, the course was shortened last minute so I dont know what my true 5k would have been....BUT....I ran 2.67 miles in 22:03 keeping an average pace of 8:15. Ill take it! The race was a little unorganized but its their first year. It was for a cause close to my heart - The Chariti Home which is a program/transitional home for unwed moms and moms to be. Becoming a mom at the age of 17 myself (long long ago, lol), I understand. I will be helping them with next years race.
