Well, the time of reckoning has finally come. After the August 3 - TopicsExpress

Well, the time of reckoning has finally come. After the August 3 gathering that was dubbed SLFA congress and all the ramifications that ensued, I had waited patiently to see how the situation could be resolved. I was away in the US on medical grounds, but quietly monitored the situation on the ground. I was also reliably informed that the President of Sierra Leone was trying to find a solution to the standoff. With evidence that the secretariat, and it imposed executive from the stolen elections are unwilling to make compromises, I have decided today instruct my legal team to institute actions at both the High Court in Sierra Leone and CAS in Switzerland. I waited patiently with the hope that H.E Koroma would have resolved this crisis. I know the consequences of my action and hope for the principles of democracy, natural justice and fairness, we will brace for these consequences. No more impunity and you cannot manipulate things and get away with it. Let the courts tell me my actions against SLFA in Sierra Leone, and FIFA in Zurich are wrong. I will accept it. I dont believe in solving legal problems with political solutions, but waited though to ensure things are patched up. I am very pained and humble to have to come to this very hard decision because I know it will be a long drawn out legal battles. Mine is borne out of the fact that over the past three years I have invested well over one hundred thousand dollars on football in Sierra Leone. My concern for the football of Sierra Leone is beyond reproach, but if things would have to be fixed the hard way, so be it.
