Well this has been some first time cruise for me. Our expected course was to cruise from St, Thomas, St. Kitts, a day at sea, then to Aruba then Cosomel then back to San Juan. After St Kitts thats when there was propeller trouble and a slight oil spill which slowed down the speed of the ship an we couldnt continue to Aruba and Cosamel. So plan B took over to go to St Martin, Antigua. St Croix then back to San Juan. We spent two days in St Martin with 6 other ships at port. Do you know how many people where on that island?? Its a wonder it didnt sink so to continue we didnt get to see anything else an have been out to sea because of engine trouble, and we were to be inland by now but we are still out to sea. At least we are all still safe, we have food, water, drinks, and beautiful weather. So far they have sent a letter saying they will give each cabin 300 dollars reimbursement, not per person per cabin. I hope we get to San Juan soon or we will miss our flight and that will be another story. The captain will soon make yet another announcement to keep everyone updated. Since I have never cruised before I have no comparison factor an I still enjoyed myself with my friends and met some very nice people this week from all over the world. I would cruise again but not anytime soon, not looking to cold weather again after a taste of summer but something to look forward to. Still at sea. Now I know how Gilligan felt.
