Well, this is the first entry on our page about our upcoming trip to Seattle. For those of you who dont know, were a military family. My husbands been in the Coast Guard for 18 years and he recently reached a couple of goals he set way back when he joined, and Im inordinately proud of him. Every time we move, we call it another adventure. This is going to be the biggest; were going from the DC metro area by car to Seattle. Weve been up and down the East Coast during his career, so this is going to be the biggest move yet. Yes, there are three small dogs. And two small cars. And nine birds. My husband, me, and my 10-year-old daughter. Across country for what we figure is going to be eight days of travel. Im factoring in two days of Screw this, Im not driving today but that remains to be seen.
