Well, this is too good not to share with those who have never seen this legendary comic. So heres a comic that you look at and say this is amazing or what were they thinking? This is trash. Well, I enjoy me some trash. So this is PUNISHER #61 Crack Down part one. Punisher breaks out of prison by altering his skin color to that of African-American. And first thing he does once hes black? Goes & tries to buy some crack. (Of course its all so he can bust them.) But wow, Im curious as to what social reactions this comic would get if it had been released in the current comic atmosphere, with social, gender, & equality issues all being hotter topics than ever. But, ignoring all of that...I love The Punisher breaking into crack houses, taking out dealers...Id take that all day over him interacting with The Avengers & whatnot. And just for an added bonus, a comic I remind people of time to time...another Punisher classic. Also, Jim Lees finest hour.
