Well, this one is ALL on Mattingly. Terrible job of managing this game. How the hell do you not pull your ace, who was rattled by the Cardinals last year, had pitched 6 plus innings on a hot night, was clearly exhausted and gave up four or five hits in a row late? Well Kershaw is the Cy Young and MVP and you trust him, hes earned the right to get out of it. Bullshit. Make the hard decision. Thats what grown ups do. This is what happens when you want to be a players manager instead of just a manager. Now your ace is COMPLETELY rattled and will have to pitch in St. Louis, youre in the hole against a team that lives for October and while we Dodger fans should be proud of how the team didnt quit and almost came back, St. Louis now has all the momentum. I would love to see what this team of incomparable talent could do with a real manager instead of a damn bench coach trying to be crowned prom king. So f***ing frustrated!!! Grr! The beauty of baseball, though is that tomorrow is another day. Need to rebound and step up big, boys!! Go Dodgers!
