Well, this week I had jury duty. Third summons in 9 years; I finally had to go to court. Today, my sub-group of potential jurors were actually selected for a jury panel where we partook in the jury selection process for a case. I was actually selected to serve as a juror for a criminal case. Some nine hours later, I can say...the experience was very interesting, gave me a sense of fulfillment concerning my civic duty, and the deliberation is not nearly as stressful as hearing the verdict in which you were a decision making making member actually rendered in court.
