Well, this would have to be the most “Unusual” job we have taken on yet. We put a tender in for a load of signs to be installed on “Manus Island” and guess what?? We got the job!! Thanks to Paul Martin and his perseverance with what seemed like a million forms, he saw it through to the end. So we made the signs and sent them up by sea but now we have to send one of our guys up there for a week to install them. Even if he does them in three days, he’s on the island for a week!! Over $2000 worth of medical checks and injections, Mark Van Dam flies out tomorrow morning so watch this space for photos with a difference as they come in. For those of you who don’t know anything about Manus Island, it’s off the northern coast of Papua New Guinea surrounded by the “Bismark Sea”and it’s where the Australian Government process the refugees trying to enter illegally on boats. The language they use is Pidgen and it’s quite hilarious when you see some of the signs we had to make.
