Well today is another milestone in the history of Port Adelaide & the LeFevre Peninsula..... This group turns 50 days old today. Yep, only 50, and wow, we have come a long way!! :D I got asked by someone a couple of weeks ago to talk about the history of this page. The reason I have held off until now, is quite simply there wasnt much to say until we got to today haha... The group was started on Sunday 22nd June by myself Felicia Peach. I originally added approx 30 people on my friends list who are locals and I thought it would be a great place to talk about memories of the good old days, and encouraged everyone to bring their friends along into the group too. Within 4 days, everything went Viral and we were already at approx 1,000 members, probably more lol. I gave Rob Schueler Admin status to help out as the group was growing so rapidly. Since then we have brought Susan Lord in to assist also. Her passion for THE PAGE could not be ignored, and she has done a great job and is a valued member of the Admin team. We currently have 5,354 members, and still growing!! I would like to take this opportunity yet again, to thank all of you... the contributers to the group, whether it be photos, memories, videos etc. Its a wonderful step back in time & also the present!! A great little part of the world, so rich in history and awesomeness!! Thankyou again everyone!!!... FP xo
