Well, tonight was interesting. While at practice, I get a text from Jamie Call me when you can. Nothing important, but I need a HUGE favor before you come home.. Love ya. So, after practice I call and she needs me to swing by and pick up some lady stuff.... Huge favor??? Phhhffftttt.... That is astronomical!! Trying to all out avoid that trip to the store, I quietly ask Callan, one of the singers, Jamie needs some lady things until in the morning, do you have any? ... Delton, I dont have that any more, lemme ask Kerri.. ... Keeerrrrii! Do you have any pads!?! Delton wants needs some to carry to Jamie!! This is yelled across the church. Sshh sshhh. Its ok its ok!! Thank God there were only 4 of us in there... But Im ready to crawl under a chair! The idea was to quietly do this. Callan aint quiet. I knew that.. Lol Its ok yall, Ill swing by Bilo and grab something.. Bilo!? We are going to Bilo too! We need sugar! Oh my God! Lol To beat them there, I hurry up and run into Bilo and having NEVER done this, Im expecting a small section of feminine hygiene... Wrong! There is a whole friggin wall of options! Super flo, light flo, thin, ultra-thin, wings, double wings with mud flaps, over night, super absorbent, medium, medium heavy, quicker picker up and super duper lady thang scooper... Great day!!! Im as confused as a baby in a topless bar.. Grabbing what I think I will work, I head to the register with the fewest folks possible.... And hide.. Almost out of here!! In walks Callan and Kerri.. They see me and make their way.. What did ya get?? No no no! Thats wrong! If she just starting, she is gonna need... .. Wait.. Here, come with us! Shoot. Me. Now. So back off to the isle again and Im being interrogated by two ladies on what my wife prefers. Lol. I dont have a clue!. What does she want? Is she heavy? Light? Does she Like thin? Ultra-thin? I answer she needs 10 hours... Until she can get by here in the morning to pick up whatever she needs. Ok, well this is your better deal, you get 24, for 5.99.. But wait, these are a dollar off with coupon... But here is a mail in rebate on..., but these are buy one, get... Ladies, they could be $100 right now. I dont care. Lol.. Right now, a roll of paper towels, bungee strap and a trash bag will work!!.. Well, ok.. These right here will work for now... And we proceed to checkout. Them with two bags of sugar, and me a box of pads for my lady! There were 3 folks in line... Lol Im home now.. And survived!!. On Jamies behalf, in the 14 years weve been together, this is a first for her! Love ya baby! Callan, Kerri, thanks for helping a boy out!!
