Well... was an interesting day yesterday at Buffalo Chip... first it was cold at 7am.- 10... then it warmed up and was beautiful... then by 4, started getting cold and rainy... so By 7.. I packed for the day... and made my way to see Queensryche. Dee snider was there having some fun.. & talked a bit. They (Queensryche) started at 10:30.... and kicked off with Queen of the Ryche... one of my faves... and from the EP that turned me on to the band. Todd is hitting those notes like he was built for the job. Just before the band went on... the legendary Hank, MC at The Chip... talked about the Heart Strings for Heroes foundation... he walked out and really promoted HSFH, and thats all he talked about. I was very honored that our foundation made a mark on the biggest bike rally in the country...and he actually hugged me and thanked me for what we`re doing.... and that my friends is what keeps you going on no sleep, out of your element... because you can bet your ass that our soldiers have it much worse... they are risking everything.... and I remind myself how lucky I am, and we all are... everyday! So heading to day 2 at The Chip... will keep ya updated... and go hug a vet! W
